WIP Wednesday

Even less progress than last week, but not feeling at all bad about it. Had surgery yesterday and basically didn't sleep at all leading up to it because my anxiety was so bad. (But it went well! And hopefully will be my last procedure for a while!) Unfortunately I probably won't make much words this coming week either because the nurse completely botched the first attempt at putting in an IV and my hand is incredibly swollen and painful and I'm discovering tonight that typing really fucking hurts, ugh. Also not anticipating anxiety levels going down this week, since every time I leave the house these days I spend the next couple of weeks panicking over every little cough or sneeze or tickle in the back of my throat. Maybe next week I will start trying to be more consistent about writing, but for this week I'm just taking it easy.

New words this week : 375 words which is still not great but again, just glad to have written anything

WIPs worked on this week : 1, with no new WIPs (yay!)

any words are words, so yay! I also think it's good you're not putting too much pressure on yourself to write! Your health (both physical and mental) are super important (I'm also trying to remind myself of this). and your wips will always be there when you feel ready to go back to them.

Ugh, blown IVs are the worst! I have the teensiest veins and every time I get an IV it's a fucking nightmare, so I'm sorry you're dealing with that aftermath! But I'm glad the surgery is done and no longer looming! <333

I was surprised by it, usually my elbows are hit and miss, but the veins in my hands always get compliments for how easy they are! It's better by now but omg the bruising is kind of amazing how big and how many different colors it is XD

This is actually the number one reason I can't wait for this whole pandemic to be over. I'm so tired of overanalyzing every cough. It's exhausting. I'm sorry you're also dealing with that awful headspace. I hope you stay safe! <3
