WIP Wednesday

I am going to write more as soon as things get better/less stressful/less busy, I say. And then that never ever happens. This week actually hasn't been too bad, mostly just busy and I haven't been sleeping well so I have had pretty much zero creative energy. Considering doing firewhiskeyfic this Friday just to get next week's wordcount up. It's rare that I drink much anymore, but I did it once before and had a lot of fun, and heck, why not get hammered and write laughably bad fic? Sometimes writing a bunch of bad words is the nudge I need to get out of a writing slump

New words this week : 43 words which is not all that much, but most of my fandom time has been going towards reviewing beta comments and doing some light edits on There Is Always the Moon. It's always incredible just how many typos and little bitty errors like that manage to slip through on fics no matter how much editing I do or how many betas look it over...

WIPs worked on this week : 1, with no new WIPs (yay!)

☆ Smutty Smut (working title) : 43 words which brings the total to 709 and just sort of poking at this in between edits. At this rate I might finish it up sometime next year XD

LOL, I mean, at least you got down some words? And you've been making progress through beta edits and that's a productive thing that needs to get done even if it's not word-heavy!

And yeah, I was thinking the same thing about typos! You can have multiple people going through your long!fic specifically looking for typos, and then you'll STILL come across super obvious ones! I'm convinced they just spawn out of nowhere, LOL.
