That is interesting! For me it's the more I talk about it and see other people being interested, it makes me more motivated to finish. But I can totally see how it goes the other way for you. Outlines are like that for me, if I've already figured out the whole thing then what's the point of writing it down?
Sorry you didn't make it to 80% either, and wow do I feel you on that deadline coming up way too fast! I don't know what's going on with this year but I feel like I blinked and May was just gone.
