More words! And I finished a thing!! Not off to a great start re: NaNo and overall wordcount, but I'm so fucking tickled to have finished a thing for the first time in ages that I don't even care :D :D :D

New words this week : 1585 words which brings my November wordcount goal to 1585 / 50,000. I'm only about 10k behind for the month so far, but eh. A thing! Finished!!

☆ pwp take 2 : 1585 words which brings the total to 9574 words and orgasms were had by all! It's finished! Although, not finished-finished, since it's still in need of both a summary and title, but it's still being beta-ed so I've got some time to figure those out. :D

Oh man. I've actually had some good writing time over this past week, and my brain has completely not known what do even do with it.

New words this week : 642 words which brings my September wordcount goal to 642 / 20000. Which I really ought to lower to something that's more approaching reasonable, but hope spring eternal and all that.

☆ pwp take 2 : 642 words which brings the total to 4207 words and I'm at the point where I'm not quite sure how to end it beyond "orgasms for everyone!" which, it's a pwp, that's pretty much a given.

This week came with a lot of unexpected stress and not very many words. Sigh.

New words this week : 384 words which brings my August wordcount goal to 2237 / 50,000. And... I think I'm going to drop my August goal down to 5000 words. I feel like that's still a bit of stretch, but a doable sort of stretch, so. 2237 / 5000 is nearly halfway there!

Wednesday again, and after missing the last couple I've got something to report, hurrah! The next couple of months look like relatively smooth sailing for me (cross my fingers, knock on wood) so hopefully I'll be getting a lot more words down. Here's hoping! :D

Not off to the best start there, but to be fair yesterday was the first afternoon of writing time I've had in a while and I spent most of it catching up on internet things after being away from my computer for the entire first week of the month.

☆ pwp take 2 : 115 words which brings the total to 1492 words, though not much progress was actually made. It was mostly rereading what I've got down so far, tweaking a little bit here, adding a little bit there, and then I lost focus and didn't get much more than that. Still, I don't think it's going to be too much longer than this. Maybe another thousand words? 1500 if it runs long? Certainly not more than 2000, I'm almost positive. So, with luck I'll be getting it done and posted soon. We'll see how it goes!

July is another busy, stressful month, but this past week has been a little bit of a lull and I've been trying to take advantage of that before things get hectic again. I got in a couple of afternoons of words, and am feeling really good about my progress!

New words this week : 1366 words and that means my July wordcount goal is met with 1430 / 1000. And I know that I set a very low goal to begin with, but wow does it feel good to have accomplished that! Upping my July goal to 2500, even though I think that's a bit beyond what I'll be able to get done.

☆ You Believe in Love, I Believe in Fate aka Erised attempt #1 from 2015 : 322 words bringing the total up to 19128. Not many new words, I was mostly tweaking a little bit here, a little bit there. I'd only gone through this as kind of a warm-up for getting ready to write new stuff, sort of get myself back in that mindset for making words and refamiliarize myself with my own voice. I find it really helpful and I'm more productive afterward.

☆ pwp take 2 : 1044 words which brings the total to 1044 words. Yep, I gave up on salty pwp and started over. And it's going really well! Much better (and shorter!) than attempt #1. Like 700 words into it, someone's dick was already out. I'm anticipating another 1-2k on it, and then it will be DONE and I will be very excited about that! :D


July Reading : As of yesterday, I'm up to 894,272. It's been more than a little bit eye-opening to actually keep track of how much I'm reading. I knew it was a lot, but it's sort of surprising exactly how much. Especially since there's been more than a few days where I didn't really feel like I read much, but I'd read something with breakfast, something with lunch, and then there'd be a couple of updates that came in from fics I'm subscribed to throughout the day that I'd read before I went to sleep.... and it'd end up being like 60k altogether. It does make me feel a bit guilty that I'm reading this much and not leaving nearly as many comments as I should be. Maybe that'll be a good goal for August...
