WIP Wednesday

firethesoundTired, surgery last week and was pretty sore afterward, but am feeling better now and nothing is actively on fire? At least for the moment? Waiting for that to change. I'm glued to the tv today watching coverage of hurricane Ian. Most of my family is scattered across the central part of Florida, thankfully all north of where Ian's made landfall so they shouldn't be getting the worst of it, but still very much in its path.
New words this week : 9575 words and even though this is for the entire month of September so far, I'm still pretty surprised. But I guess it makes sense. I haven't spent that much time writing, probably not more than 5-10 minutes every couple of days, but it's been a completely no-fucks-given sort of thing where I'm just jotting down bits of dialogue and scene notes and stuff so wordcount-wise it's been pretty productive. Amazing how fast I can write where I'm not concerned about making it "good".
WIPs worked on this week : 1, with no new WIPs (but only on a technicality, there have been new ideas but it's all in the same doc)
The Old Guard
☆ Old Guard Misc. : 9575 words which brings the total to 18,142 words and this is 100% not at all the thing I'm supposed to be working on right now. I should be writing my original thing but I have no inspiration/motivation. I really want to be working on my ex-HDBB fic, but I can't because I feel guilty I'm not working on my original thing. So instead I've been ignoring both of them to throw words at Old Guard fic and I don't know what I'm even doing anymore.
