WIP Wednesday
May. 16th, 2018 02:28 pmSeven out of seven for writing days this past week, woo! A couple of them were just ~50ish words, but I sat down and opened up my WIP and put words down on it every day :D
New words this week : 3931 words which brings my May wordcount to a total of 7891 / 10,000. Writing's been a little easier lately (knock on wood!) and I'm hoping this is a trend that'll continue.
WIPs worked on this week : 2, with 1 new WIP

☆ Fandom Trumps Hate : 3755 words which brings the total to 33,824 words. I spent the earlier part of the week (and lower wordcount days) trying to work out how to raise the stakes of this chapter sufficiently high, so that parts I have planned later will make sense. Spent some time browsing through Pottermore and everything just sort of came together. Love it when that happens! Chapter 4 is now well on its way to complete.
☆ You Send Me 2 (working title) : 176 words on a new WIP, because You Send Me reached that sweet spot of recent enough that I still like the writing, but long enough ago that I'm a little fuzzy on the details, so I gave it a reread recently. And remembered several subplots I'd started and forgotten to finish. I'd intended to do a sequel pretty much right away, and then the Year of No Writing happened. So, I went ahead and started a doc for it and sketched out a loose outline.
