WIP Wednesday
Dec. 28th, 2016 06:43 pmTotal words this week: 0 I was visiting family for Christmas and I had about 30 minutes of writing time after I got to my parents' house but before my parents got home from running an errand, and then I didn't touch my laptop again for the entire 8 days I was there. Usually there are at least a couple of afternoons where we're just hanging out and I can squeeze in a little bit of writing time, but for whatever reason this time was just totally hectic. So, a great big ZERO words for this week.
However! Because I was so busy I missed last week's post and I made LOTS of words then so we'll just do a belated WIP Wednesday here.
Total words for the week of 12/14-12/20: 1326 which puts me at 3619/2500 for my goal this month. And hurrah for meeting goals! ::throws confetti:: \o/ There's still a few days left in the month so ::crosses fingers:: I think I'll be getting this number a little bit higher, I hope. Mr FTS got a new game he's excited to play so even though he's taking the rest of the year off from work, I'll have a lot of time where he's occupied with that and I'm on my own. (And after over a week around non-stop around people, I am beyond thrilled about this, hashtag introvert troubles.)
WIPs worked on this week: 2, no new WIPs (yay!)
HP:
You Believe in Love, I Believe in Fate aka Erised Attempt #1 from 2015 : 168 words bringing the total up to 18806. I'm pretty sure this is going to be the next long thing I'm going to focus on, because it's got Luna as a main character and I want to get more comfortable with her so I can write some awesome Pansy/Luna femslash. I read over what I've got so far and added a little bit here and a little bit there, and jotted down a couple notes for a scene I want to add.
MCU:
Pittsburgh (working title) : 1158 words bringing the total up to 17157. I had some ideas for this on the drive (because I do good thinking on long interstate drives) and sketched them out before I could forget. One of them was the Confession of Feelings and the ensuing First Kiss, so I'm pretty excited to have gotten that part blocked out. :D I kind of want to go back and round them out while it's still relatively fresh in my brain but we'll see what happens this week. I had some good ideas on the drive back yesterday and I want to get those down first.
