WIP Wednesday

firethesoundNot as much writing time as I'd have liked this week. Things were fairly busy and between errands/friends/Mr FTS/housework I just didn't have the hours to put into writing that would've actually gotten me anywhere. I had three Zero Days this week, so that certainly didn't help.
New words this week : 1765 words which brings my November wordcount goal to 3384 / 50,000. I am definitely not going to make my goal, I'm calling it here. NaNo is a huge fail. I'm lowering my goal to 15,000 and I'm pretty sure even that's going to be unattainable, since I'm going to be losing a whole week of writing time next week while my in-laws are visiting.
WIPs worked on this week : 1, no new WIPs (yay!)

☆ Fandom Trumps Hate : 1765 words which brings the total to 2166 words and wow I'd forgotten how frustrating this phase of writing is. I've done so much write-delete-write-delete that I'm sure I've written at least three times as many words as I ended up counting. But this is par for the course with me starting something new, especially something new that I'm planning to be long. It always takes me a while to find the right place to break into the story, and once I reach 5-6k I know things will get way easier. I just have to push through until I get to that point!
