LOL actually most of my plot bunnies live in a separate doc that I honestly try not to think too hard about... My organization is, uh, probably not as extensive as it ought to be, considering. The WIP Folder of Doom has separate folders in it for each fandom, a folder for completed fic that's been posted, and then one called Graveyard where I dump things that I'm sure I'm never going to finish writing but can't bring myself to delete. The Great Big Doc of Fic Ideas also lives in the writing folder. Then, to try to keep on top of what's actually in there, I've got one spreadsheet I update about once a year that's got everything by doc name, plus working/tentative title, brief summary, type (oneshot, PWP, novel, etc), estimated wordcount, and current wordcount. I am curious to hear about your organization! I love these little behind-the-scenes glimpses of how other people write <3
Haha, I think that is definitely worse to have the bits and bobs spread out between two places! Like, is the thing missing or is it just elsewhere? XD
