WIP Wednesday
Sep. 30th, 2026 04:11 pmNew words this week : 1,250 words which will probably be my entire wordcount for the month. Yikes.
WIPs worked on this week : 2, with 2 new WIPs.
I am fucking delighted to have an actual wordcount today! It's been much harder to get going again after such a long break, but we're getting there. Hopefully. I have also been reworking The Water's Always Greener and hope that I'll be able to get it posted in the next week or so...
The Old Guard
☆ misc : 721 words which brings the total to 721 words and this one probably should be in the fic incubator doc but oh well. I went to the Ren Fest here last weekend and was very inspired by the idea of Nile as a Bubble Fairy, and that somehow spilled over to the idea of Nicky as a Living Statue. Andy, of course, would run the axe throwing booth. It was meant to be a very very short thing and isn't going to be quite as short as I'd hoped (which was less than 2k) and instead I think it'll be somewhere around 6-8k? So it got set aside.
☆ misc : 529 words and it's another new fic idea that isn't quite big enough for its own doc so it gets to incubate for a while because I've only got like, 30% of a plot at most.
