April Wrap-Up / May Goals

Well, you've probably guessed from the lack of posts from me recently (I think I've missed 2 Wednesday posts?) that this month wasn't a very productive writing month at all. I sort of was prepared for that possibility going into it, since I had some pretty difficult things I was going to be dealing with IRL, but I figured it'd be an all-or-nothing month. Either I'd make a bazillion words because of stress, or I'd make almost none, also because of stress. I was hoping it'd be a bazillion....
2017 Total Wordcount Goal : 46939 / 300,000
...but it was almost none. Barely any change from March's total (46558) and I'm even farther behind for my yearly goal.
April Wrap-Up : I finished the month with 381 words which... honestly, I think I only did one afternoon of writing and those 381 words were spread out over something like 5 hours. My wordcount spreadsheets are just long strings of zeros. And now we're a week into May at this point and I still haven't written anything else.

May Wordcount Goal : 20k This is probably reaching too high, because I have the feeling that May is going to be just as tough to get through as April was, and my writing's going to continue to suffer, but. I'm trying to be optimistic. We'll see what happens.
May Fics to Focus On
Fandom Trumps Hate : Currently 0 words, though I've got a pretty decent idea of where I'm going to go with it now. It's going to pick up almost immediately postwar, so I'm still reading through the end of Deathly Hallows to try to get all the details straight and get into the right headspace to tackle it, but, yes. Ideas. Excitement. Estimated wordcount, 40k.
PWP : Currently 0 words, though again, lots of ideas. This will also be for my FTH recipient, as a combination thank-you-for-being-patient-with-my-slow-butt and also a I-promise-I'm-not-totally-flaking-out-on-you sort of thing. Feelsy established relationship smut is usually something I can knock out in a single afternoon of writing, I just need to get my brain to a point where I can, you know, actually sit down and do it. Estimated wordcount, 2-3k.
