August Wrap-Up / September Goals

firethesound2017 Total Wordcount Goal : 54,794 / 300,000 Managed to get a little more this month than last month, but looking at what I've got going on and how many days are left in the year... I've accepted that I'm not going to meet my 300k goal. Frustrating because every year I've been tracking my wordcount I come within spitting distance of it, but this year has been... I feel like "relentless" pretty much sums it up, though I could certainly add a whole lot of other adjectives to that.
August
Oh man. When I wrote up my goal post for August, I went into it thinking that beginning in August and going on through September would be a little bit of a lull from the ongoing chaos of my life. Ha! I got about a week and a half into the month, most of which my parents were visiting so I had zero writing time, and then things imploded all over again and now my life is more hectic than ever.
August Wrap-Up : I finished the month with 3179 words which didn't quite meet my lowered wordcount goal of 5,000. Still, a perfectly respectable number of words and I'm very okay with that.
September
This is going to be a pretty rough month. We're going to be moving two states north and I.... am actively trying not to think of that. I have so much to do.
September Wordcount Goal : 10k because I still have the urge to write. I've got the motivation for it and the desire to get it done. I'm hoping I'll be able to find the time. I've got at least a little bit of dedicated writing time blocked out later this week, and I'm hoping the move goes smoothly (fingers crossed, knock on wood) and I get settled in and end up having some more writing time on the other side of all this.
September Fics to Focus On
☆ pwp take 2 : Currently 3594 words. "This'll just be quick blowjobs in a closet!" said I. "I'll be able to finish this fast!" Now there's also bickering and fucking, so. Estimated wordcount, 5k. I really really want to finish this up this month.
☆ Fandom Trumps Hate : Currently 26 words, and I've got a starting point and a loose plot and a bunch of notes and also a title! :D Estimated wordcount, 40k.
