Firewhiskey Fic

firethesoundNo words this week--I was out of town Friday-Monday, and the day before was spent with laundry/packing/cleaning, and the day after was spent with laundry/unpacking/cleaning, so there went 100% of my writing time.
But instead of skipping WIP Wednesday entirely, I thought I'd go ahead and make a post about my submission to this latest round of Firewhiskey Fic! I've been wanting to participate but the timing of the last few rounds never worked out for me, so I was totally thrilled when this one did! It was so much fun and I'd definitely like to play again. Plus, it's a really really REALLY good feeling to have written and finished and gotten something posted, even if it is a ridiculous typo-riddled mess of a fic. I might try to get it cleaned up and posted on AO3 at some point, but it needs enough work that I'm just leaving it be for now.
