WIP Wednesday

firethesoundVisitors have come and gone and I did manage to get a little writing time in! Not quite as much progress over the last week as I'd hoped to have made, but for the rest of this week I'm really focusing on fic and hoping to make a decent bunch of words.
New words this week : 1618 words which brings my June total up to 2985. I'm going to skip doing a monthly goal post/wordcount goal for this month, since we're nearly halfway through it at this point and I'm only working on one thing right now...
WIPs worked on this week : 1, no new WIPs (yay!)

☆ Tropes : 1618 words which brings the total to ????, and what I lack in wordcount I more than made up for in plotting. A large and rather important part of my outline was a sort of handwavey stuff happens here and I finally worked out what exactly that stuff is and how it supports the rest of the plot, and I'm very pleased with it, I think. It was a pretty big gap that I'd been working around, and the rest of the story just sort of fell into place once I got it worked out! Very relieved to have inspiration finally strike.
